1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ArriveRide's services, website, or mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. ArriveRide operates in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario, Canada.

2. Service Description

ArriveRide is a platform that connects customers who need a professional driver with verified drivers. Unlike traditional ride-sharing, our drivers operate your vehicle — you ride in the comfort of your own car.

• Per-Trip pricing: Competitive flat rates starting at $15 CAD
• Hourly pricing: $45/hr standard, $40/hr for bookings of 3+ hours

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and current information
• One account per person; duplicate accounts may be suspended

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Your vehicle must be in safe, operable condition with valid insurance and registration
• Provide accurate pickup/dropoff locations and vehicle details
• Be present and ready at the scheduled pickup time
• Treat drivers with respect and courtesy
• Ensure your vehicle has adequate fuel for the trip
• Pay all applicable fees as displayed at the time of booking

5. Driver Requirements

• Valid Ontario G-class (or equivalent) driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience
• Clean driving record and criminal background check
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Maintain professional conduct at all times

6. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Customers are charged upon trip completion. Drivers receive their earnings minus the ArriveRide platform fee (20% of the trip total).

• All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include HST where applicable
• Cancellation within 5 minutes of booking: full refund
• Late cancellation or no-show: a cancellation fee may apply

7. Cancellation Policy

• Customer cancellation: Free if cancelled more than 15 minutes before scheduled time
• Late cancellation: A fee of $10 CAD may be charged
• Driver cancellation: Drivers may cancel if the vehicle is unsafe or the customer is unreachable

8. Liability

ArriveRide serves as a platform connecting customers with drivers. We are not a transportation company. The vehicle owner's insurance is the primary coverage during any trip. ArriveRide is not liable for:

• Damage to the customer's vehicle during normal operation
• Items left in the vehicle
• Delays caused by traffic, weather, or other external factors

9. Prohibited Conduct

• Providing false information or creating fraudulent bookings
• Harassment, discrimination, or threatening behaviour
• Using the service for illegal activities
• Attempting to contact drivers/customers outside the platform for future bookings

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any conduct that we deem inappropriate or harmful to other users.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
